At Fokasty, we ensure to collect only very little data of our users which must be used to providing service to them. Faith and trust of our users is considered very important to us. We want you to know that we are not interested in the present, in the business of selling, renting or trading of our user's data.

In this Privacy Policy we have written down the information we collect, how we use them, under which conditions we would be required to disclose to others, and how we strive to keep it secure.

Information we collect

Cookies

Cookies are very small text files containing small amounts of information which are downloaded to your personal computer, mobile or tablet when you visit our website. Under cookies we store information which we need to persist and reload your preference when you visit our website again. The cookies will contain which page you were visiting and what selection you made but this information is stored on your computer and sent to our server for processing.

Your Personal Information

When you visit our website, or use our apps, we receive your IP Address, your browser details, and time of visit. This data is logged in our server for analytics like performance of our page, errors, repeat visits, bounce rate etc. Our marketing team uses this data to enhance user experience.

If you log in to Fokast, then we also record your time of login. Your details are then shared with the same account-holder which the person can view under their settings. This is to ensure that the accounts are only being used by the registered person.

Your settings and preferences

After you log in to Fokast, you can choose to create focus mode schedules, teams and other features of the website. We store this information in our database for persistent storage. This data can be removed easily when you delete the resource you've created. However, the backup copies might still store that data, so you must contact us if you want the information to be completely removed.

Google Analytics

When someone visits our website or uses our app, we use a third party service, Google Analytics, to collect details of visitor's behaviour. We do this so that we can tailor and improve our marketing technique and only target those who are willing to come to our website and use our services. For example, if we see that people from certain country is more interested in coming to our website then we might add different language pages for them. Similarly, if we see that users are coming with keyword: "focus mode" from search engines than we might place more emphases on that keyword in our website. Currently, data in our Google Analytics account is retained for 24months.

Please be assured that this information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the personal identification of those visiting our website.

Extra Information we collect in Apps

When you use Fokast apps on Android, iOS, Mac or Windows. Then we also record the unique identifier and model of the device you're using.

We also store login token in your device, which is then delivered to our server to validate the login.

We also store multiple information in the device to ensure the Fokast app works as intended, like the schedules, teams you have created in your account.

Your Data Protection

Our servers, website and apps are regularly checked for security updates. As soon as a new security patch is released, we strive our best to implement them in our server as soon as possible.

Our website is protected with HTTPS (Secure SSL) so your activity on the website are encrypted. Similarly, all the communication that happens between the App and Website is transmitted using secure HTTPS channel.

Sharing of Your Data

We want to assure you that we do not intend our user's data with any other organization, in normal circumstances. Under normal circumstances, until the information is required by law or for security reasons like if we receive a query from agency related to legal matter then we would be required by law to share your information.

Access to your personal information

You are entitled to view, amend, or delete the personal information that we hold. Email your request to: [email protected] and we will promptly reply you.

If you intend to completely remove your information from Fokast website, apps and server. Please write us an email and we will guide you through it.
